Current Apps I Love for Instagram Stories

It's no secret that I love to overshare on Instagram stories. Most of the time I keep it simple, recording and posting within the app, but when I want to make it look pretty I have a few favorite extras. Today I'm sharing the current apps I love for Instagram stories.

Unfold

This is my go-to. I paid for the extra templates, and I love to use this make a photo collage, layer images, and just generally have a more polished look for my stories. Examples:

InShot

I use this similar to Unfold, but you can also change background colors, add text with different fonts, layer pics, etc. Example:

Kira Kira

I use this to add a little sparkle.  ✨[video ]

8mm

This I use sparingly to give my videos a vintage vibe.[video ]

Word Swag

I use this to add a bunch of different fonts to photos, blur backgrounds, and make templates for various social platforms. They have templates for everything from Pinterest to IG Stories, and I love their fonts.

Hype Type

I love this for adding animated texted to my stories. I use this primarily when I'm featuring an event or announcing a new blog post. There are a ton of fonts & colors to choose from, and I just love it.[video src="http://heykatie.co/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/img_1965.mov" ]

VSCO

Vsco is probably my favorite editing app in general, but I love that you can also edit video through VSCOX. I don't always love the filters in Instagram, and I sometimes want my stuff to be edited cohesively, so that's my go-to for all things filtered.And that's it for my current favorite apps for IG stories!
